Vuorovaikeutus – or VV – is a student organization for environmental and resource economics students in University of Helsinki. As a student organization, Vuorovaikeutus protects students rights and organizes events for its members ranging from cooking nights to table parties AKA ”sitsit”. Vuorovaikeutus also connects with businesses and organizations by organizing excursions.

Vuorovaikeutus was first established in 1987. During these 35 years Vuorovaikeutus has formed a bunch of traditions including song Paretoosi, drink Regulaattori, yearly trip to Lammassaari and the pre-Christmas party. Vuorovaikeutus also has its own mascot, an polar bear called Jallu.

Vuorovaikeutus is part of two bigger university organizations: HYY and MMYL. Before the year 2017 environmental and resource economics students wore dark green overalls since VV was also part of MYY. MYY is a student organization for environmental science students in University of Helsinki. Nowadays students have dark blue overalls like most students studying economics as a major in Viikki. VITA is the head association for economics students in Viikki.
